What is one-way rental? Often, it is possible to pick up your rental vehicle at one car rental centre and to return the vehicle to a different one. We refer to this service as one-way rental. At many popular destinations, this service is available free of charge with a minimum rental of at least three days. At other locations, an additional fee applies for this service. What is door-to-door delivery? Would rather have your rental vehicle brought to your hotel or flat instead of picking it up at the airport? Sunny Cars offers this service, which is known as door-to-door delivery. What is a drop-off box? A drop-off box is a letterbox at the car park where you leave your rental car outside of office hours. You leave your car keys in this letterbox. What is meet & greet? Some Sunny Cars partners have no rental counter at the airport. In this case, you receive the car keys and the rental agreement from one of our partner’s representative, who meets you at an agreed upon location. We call this service ‘meet & greet’. What is a single vehicle accident? A single vehicle accident is a traffic accident in which only one vehicle is involved. In other words, only the rental car is involved in the accident. There is no second party. The driver has caused the accident. What is the 24-hour rule? A rental day consists of 24 hours. You must return the rental car at the same time at which you took receipt of the car, as indicated on your rental agreement. If you return the vehicle too late, you will be charged the daily fee. Suppose, for instance, you rent a vehicle from 1 July to 7 July and you take possession of the rental car at 1:30 p.m. In this case, you can enjoy your rental car for an entire week, until 1:30 p.m. on 7 July, at which time you must the vehicle. |
