Insurance

Drive with 100% coverage with Sunny Cars!

When you are on holiday, you want to enjoy yourself and not have to worry about anything, including concerns about your rental car. We understand this like no other. That is why, Sunny Cars ensures that you have no deductible for damage and theft insurance, as standard, and that the insurance also covers window, tyre and undercarriage damage. We also provide additional third-party liability insurance of €7.5 million, if the local coverage is insufficient. We give you the peace of mind to relax and enjoy your holiday to the fullest.

At Sunny Cars, you can rest assured that your rental car insurance always includes the following types of coverage:

Third-party liability insurance (€7.5 million minimum)
Covers material or physical damage caused to third parties with the exception of the vehicle occupants (i.e. those other than the driver or passengers). The coverage amount varies from country to country.

The third-party liability insurance coverage amount is highly important when renting a car. This is because damages caused to others can be extremely high, certainly in the case of personal injury. In most European countries, the legally required third-party liability insurance coverage is sufficient, but in a number of popular holiday destinations, the maximum coverage is not enough. In Greece, for example, the coverage is just €146,735. That is not a large amount for an accident in which another driver is seriously injured. To ensure you of a worry-free holiday, Sunny Cars takes out a supplemental third policy liability insurance policy with additional coverage of €7.5 million at 45 locations. We do that automatically, and at no additional cost, as an added gesture to the customer.

CDW insurance with no deductible
This type of policy covers damage to the rental car caused by third parties or the person renting the car. There is no deductible for this insurance, which also covers damage to windows, tyres and the undercarriage.

Theft protection insurance with no deductible
This type of insurance covers financial damage resulting from the theft of the rental vehicle. This insurance also comes with no deductible.

Free window, tyre and undercarriage damage protection
At Sunny Cars, window, glass and undercarriage damage protection is also included, as standard. A cracked windscreen or a flat tyre is no problem!  Sunny Cars will compensate all of these costs.

Refund of deductible & window, tyre and undercarriage damage
Anyone who rents a car from Sunny Cars us always insured that the deductible will be covered! Even window, tyre and undercarriage damage protection is included as standard. To provide even better service, Sunny Cars covers the costs of damages in both cases. This service is included in the price automatically at all destinations where there is a local deductible for damage or theft insurance, and is provided at no extra charge.
