With this service you don't have to go to the counter or a vending machine, but you can sign the rental contract and unlock your car on your smartphone. So you have everything under control and are on your way in no time.
What is the Smartphone service?
With the Smartphone service, you check in online before you leave, so your rental contract is filled out completely. After you have landed you will receive a link to the digital rental contract. You can check and sign it directly on your smartphone. After you have paid the deposit you will be told where your rental car is in the parking lot and how to unlock it. So there is no desk clerk or even a vending machine. You arrange everything yourself via your smartphone.

How to book the Smartphone service?
We are introducing this handy service at a growing number of destinations. On the website you can see for yourself whether the Smartphone service is available at your destination via the filter menu. Under services you will find the option ''Smartphone service''. Check this option and we will show you the rental cars for which this service is included in the rental price. Select the car of your choice and in a few clicks you can complete your booking. It's that easy! Please note that the Smartphone service can be reserved up to 5 days before the rental start date. The service is not available for last minute bookings.
Advance online registration is required for the Smartphone service
For the use of the Smartphone Pick-up service it is mandatory to register online in advance. With the data, the rental contract can already be drawn up. Moreover, the flight number and the phone number where you can be reached are important. After your flight lands you will receive an SMS with a link to the digital rental contract. Online registration is easy via the link on the voucher. You can provide us with your details up to 48 hours before your rental starts.
Turn on your mobile data and roaming to be able to use the Smartphone service
Since you will receive a link to the digital rental contract upon arrival at the airport, it is necessary that you have a smartphone with which you can access the Internet while abroad. This means that the mobile data and roaming must be on. It is also an option to use a local WiFi network, although this is less secure and there is no guarantee in advance that a network will be available.
Can I also book extras if I use the Smartphone service?
Do you want to add an additional driver or reserve a child seat? You will find the possibilities and prices in the specific rental conditions. It is possible that extra costs will be charged, which you see during the booking process and which you will have to pay on location (also via your smartphone)! After signing the rental contract you will be directed to the payment page.
Take photos of the rental car at pick up and return
