Deposit

Please note that there is an extra cost involved, which you pay locally to the local partner. If reserving a child seat or baby car seat online is not possible, our customer service team will be on hand to assist you and explore the options with you.
When you hit the road, you obviously want to minimise stress and get to your destination at ease. It is therefore advisable to book a rental car with a navigation system for the Netherlands. In the booking process, in the second step called ‘Travel details’, you can find and add a GPS system as an accessory. Please note that the cost for this navigation system will be charged separately and must be paid locally to the fleet provider.
Yes, you need a credit card to rent a car in the Netherlands. The local partner uses the credit card as a deposit for any damage to the car. Before booking, check whether the main driver of the rental car has a credit card. Also, make sure you have the physical credit card with you and know the PIN. Moreover, keep enough spending space free on your credit card for the deposit.
